Equipment is the main part of fixed assets, is one of the important elements of enterpriseproductivity, and is the important technical material basis and necessary conditions forenterprise production. With the continuous improvement of enterprise automation equipment,the role of the equipment in production is becoming more and more prominent, and affectingthe enterprise production’s quality, yield, cost, delivery, safety environmental regulations andthe operator’s labor mood. In the fierce competition in the shipbuilding industry, the role ofthe equipment is particularly prominent, which have become one of the key factors for ashipbuilding enterprises to realize the transformation and upgrading, get rid of thepredicament, and beat the winner.In this paper, Which is based on Z company as the research object, and based onanalyzing the development of home and abroad equipment management theories, about thepresent situation of Z company equipment management to conduct a comprehensiveelaboration and analysis, including the Z company equipment management structure,responsibilities, management system and workflow, etc, and found there is a series ofproblems in Z company such as New equipment is idle, low maintenance efficiency, singlemaintenance mode, equipment maintenance is not in place and so on. Through the analysis,the paper points out that these problems mainly due to the early stage of the equipmentmanagement is not in place, lack of targeted maintenance strategy, the equipmentmanagement level examination evaluation system is not perfect and The chaos of theproduction site, etc. On this basis, the paper puts forward to improve the level of Z companyequipment management, a series of countermeasures, mainly including: improve the earlyperiod of the equipment management, implement maintenance strategy based on theimportance of classification, by using the methods of analytic hierarchy process (AHP) andfuzzy comprehensive evaluation method for equipment management comprehensiveevaluation, implement based on equipment6s’ on-site management, etc. finally, forimplementing the countermeasures smoothly,some safeguard measures are put forward.Paper to Z company equipment management as the research object, to combine theorywith practice, there are practical significance of lifting equipment management level andenhancing the core competitiveness of enterprises.
