Performance management is one of the main contents of human resourcemanagement. The close integration of performance management and corporatestrategy, with enterprise strategy decomposed into each employee, not only makes thework products of employees measurable, but also can encourage employees todevelop in the direction that the company needs. At the same time, the enterprise canfind good employees. So how to closely link corporate strategy and employeeperformance and assess employee performance reasonably has become the mostimportant issue that must be resolved by the managers. With the current performancemanagement system of SR Company as the research object, this paper has asystematic analysis from multiple dimensions such as enterprise-wide performancemanagement. Besides, it also puts forward the problems and deficiencies existed inSR’s compensation management system.Firstly, from the point of view of SR’s long-term strategy, combined with thecompany’s human resource development strategy, this paper analyzed the deficienciesin current performance management of the company. Secondly, through the analysisof the problems in corporate performance management, this paper determined toevaluate the performance of the company, department and employee from fourdimensions such as the key performance indicator, process management, staffdevelopment, and quality monitoring. Thirdly, combined with SR’s reality and itslevel of industry development, according to the principles and methods ofperformance management system, this paper designed a new performancemanagement system in line with corporate’s long-term development strategy bymethod of quantitative and qualitative analysis. Finally, to make the new performancemanagement system implement effectively in the company and play an effective rolein the implementation of corporate strategy, this paper suggests that take safeguardmeasures in the aspects such as the enhancement of the company’s internalmanagement level and the introduction of external experts, thereby ensuring theeffective operation and healthy development of SR’s performance managementsystem.Through scientific planning and reasonable optimization of SR’s performance system, this paper attempts to motivate employees, enhance employees’ enthusiasmand initiative, and stimulate their enthusiasm and potential for the work, so as toprovide intellectual support for the realization of SR’s long-term development strategy.As the performance management system design is a difficult problem for the study ofmodern enterprises, and other companies in the machinery manufacturing enterpriseswill also encounter similar problems, so I hope this paper can provide some usefulreference for other similar problems or the enterprises with the same background.
