| A company is a Sino-Japanese joint venture of consumer electronics. With thedevelopment of the enterprise and the environment changes, the company’s existingproduction levels can not meet the requirements of the market. How to build aproduction system with high efficiencyã€low cost and quick response is the mostimportant topic in company’s current operation management. This article carried outa research on the implement of A company’s lean improvement process, aiming toexplore a method which is suitable for the enterprise to apply lean thinking and toolsfor continuous improvement.At first, this paper puts forward the research’s background and significance,makes an analysis of the overview of A company and imports the necessity of leanproduction, introduces the origin and the development of lean production. Secondly,the value stream mapping analysis method is used to diagnose A company’sproduction system. The article describes the company’s method to import leanproduction. The method is establish a full participation lean manufacturingimplementation system and lean production guarantee system, which mix the leanvalue stream improvement, and industrial engineering improving methods. Finally,the article studies the case of M product’s lean improving, based on the method ofvalue stream mapping analysis. As to the assembly line, it determines theproductivity through the use of the subdivision man-hour model and analyses themain factors influencing the production efficiency, use Genetic Algorithm toimprove line balancing. For the forming and SMT production, it advances theproduction efficiency mainly through equipment OEE improvement and shorten thechangeover time. For the Production control mode, shift from the traditional pushproduction to CONWIP system. Eventually it reaches the elimination of waste,shorten the production cycle, reduces inventory, etc.Through the research of lean production’s processes and results on A company,the article proved the effectiveness of pushing lean production on improving Acompany’s manufacturing operations system and enhancing the competitiveness ofthe enterprises. |
