With the rapid development of the national economy and people’s living standards improve, people’s traffic travel conditions have become more sophisticated, it will directly contribute to the development of the civil aviation industry and aviation equipment manufacturing industry. Aircraft as a high-tech, high-complexity of transport must exist a lot of risk, and any errors will lead to accidents. The stark reality is that due to the high cost of R&D investment, the high failure rate of new product development seriously affect the overall aircraft design standards. Therefore, an urgent need for advanced management ideas and combine research and production practices, and strive to reduce and control risk effectively to improve product design capability, and thus enhance the safety of aircraft performance. In this paper, first, introduces the purpose and significance of the necessity of risk management theory depth in aviation manufacturing projects utilized; secondly, systematically expounded the basic theory of risk management, the theoretical basis for the case paper analyzes; thirdly, based on risk management theory, methodology, select a type of flight control system development project as a research object, taking into account the complexity of the flight control system, this paper takes an important component of the flight control system——radio altimeter study as a typical case. then Secondly, we draw on a range of management methods aviation industry, its integration with risk management theory, seeks to address risk management issues in the field of aviation manufacturing, the case study in this article, FMECA analysis methods applied to the risk identification; use reliability theory in the field of engineering and technology assessment technology risk; using RCMA, LORA analysis methods to implement risk control. Finally, using the method of the above-mentioned case herein, to decrease the risk of circumvention purposes.
