The world steel market in general is a buyer’s market; the business of steel processingenterprises also should be a product-centric to customer-centric. Therefore, to make ironand steel enterprises in the fierce market competition to win, it is bound to go the way ofmarketing innovation. Judging from the marketing concept is to establish a modernmarketing concept, including market concept, the overall concept and the concept of talentand so on. On this basis, the steel enterprises should establish modern marketingorganization and operation mechanism, the implementation of the right marketing strategy,thus achieving a breakthrough marketing strategy and innovation. First Qin QinhuangdaoMetal Materials Co., Ltd.(referred to as the First Qin) is the Capital Iron and SteelCorporation, Shougang Concord International Enterprises Company Limited and SouthKorea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries, Ltd. jointly set up steel plate production of iron andsteel enterprises. Based on the analysis of the iron and steel industry and the marketingstrategy research status at home and abroad, combined with the first Qin’s actual situation,this paper analyzes the present situation of the steel market demand, hoping to put forwardreasonable marketing strategy is for the First Qin.First, after reading a lot of theories about the marketing literature as well as the steelindustry on the basis of in-depth analysis through in-depth visits to research, collect a lotof first-hand information for the further study foundation.Secondly, This practice of relying on its units for the completion of the steel industryin the introduction of marketing at home and abroad the basic situation of thecharacteristics of the steel industry and related marketing theory, based on the first Qinmarketing situation, problems in-depth analysis presented first Qin marketing goals.Thirdly, in-depth analysis on the steel market demand is made. Combining with theactual situation, this paper sets marketing goals for the First Qin.Finally, combining the above analysis, this paper puts forward the overall marketingstrategy and detailed marketing strategies of three specific kinds of steel, so that the papercan have a certain practical operability.
