The Clustering Research Of Shaanxi Textile Industry Based On The Perspective Of Resource Integration

Since the reform and opening-up policy made in1970s, especially since theimplementation of the western development strategy, Shaanxi Province, as a nationalkey pioneer will focus on training and driving the other western regions on theeconomic development. She plays an obvious effect on radiating and driving herneighboring provinces and cities.From the middle of the1990s, as one of the eight key industries of ShaanxiProvince, textile industry began an overall decline. The gap between it and the sameindustry on the coastal areas gradually broaden. Driving the textile industry inShaanxi Province of plays a great importance role to boost regional economic soaragain.The proclamation of the12th Five Year Plan for textile Industry and Shaanxitextile industry revitalization planning implementation plan, brings new chance andchallenge for Shaanxi textile industry.This is the important node of Shaanxi changing from a large province to a strongprovince of textile, and many parts of Shaanxi Province establishing new textileindustrial parks. Regard scientific development view as guidelines, take optimizingindustrial structure and improving the industrial chain as the direction, take clusteringdevelopment as the goal, take the resource integration measures as a breakthrough,then textile industry will truly realize to upgrade with transition.The principal research foci of this dissertation are: Firstly, for Shaanxi textileindustry, whether it is able to develop clustering. Secondly, whether it is able to makesome advices on resource integration based on the development and situation. Thirdly,whether it is able to provide a reasonable path, follow which Shaanxi textile industrywill realize the development of clustering.After long efforts, following the sequence of ideas and taking many textilescientific projects as a plat, the writer combs the problems faced by the textileindustry cluster construction. Combining C-D Production function and the analysis oncontribution rate of elements, the writer makes some advices on resource integration. Using Matlab7.0software and Interpretative Structural Modeling Method, the writerdesigns a reasonable path for Shaanxi textile industry to realize the development ofclustering, and provides a reference to Shaanxi textile industry cluster construction.The major originalities of this dissertation are displayed as follows: Firstly,combining resource integration and industry cluster, two of current most importantissues together, there is a breakthrough on the theoretical studies. And it plays animportant theoretical guiding role in the development of clustering. Secondly, it putsforward suggestions to adjust and integration internal and external resources. The lastbut not the least, based on Interpretative Structural Modeling Method, this paperoffers the steps and suggestions for Shaanxi textile industry to realize thedevelopment of clustering. The research and analytic methods are also useful for otherprovinces and cities.Based on the perspective of resource integration, the textile industry takes thepatterns of clustering development, will boost Shaanxi province to build the highbeginning, high-technology textile industrial base, and change from a large provinceto a strong province of textile. Smoothly facilitate the shift of textile industry fromeast to west, and boost Shaanxi textile industry highly to entering compete and contestinternationally.
