Arable land is the basic resource for agricultural production which is animportant material foundation for achieving sustainable development. Changes in thenumber and quality of arable land directly affects the country’s agricultural productionand food security. In this paper, Jilin Agricultural County, for example, to agriculturalland classification based on the results,analyzed gradual change and mutation ofarable land,changes in production capacity and spatial distribution,changes in theamplitude and gradation strength.Intensive arable land resources for the efficient andsustainable use of,implemented by the amount of land converted to manage both thequantity and quality of land management decision-making basis.The results in the following areas:1. The nature gradation among2010-2012changed hardly in NongAn.Becausefactor index calculations on natural quality such as topographic slope, organic mattercontent, effective soil depth and surface soil texture changes after three years theirnumber is very small.The average utilization of arable land were10.15、10.6and11.05among2010-2012in NongAn.The average annual decrease of0.45in use gradation.Averagecapacity were8945.9ton,8020.4ton and7417.3ton was yearly lossphenomenon.Because the main factors that determine the coefficient of land use wascrop yields in different areas designated. Due to less irrigation facilities,the mainfactors affecting the yield of the crops is natural disasters. The economic gradationamong2010-2012changed the larger between regions in NongAn. The most reason isthe level of regional economic development, input-output, location factors and otherfactors affecting land land economic factor, but economic input-output of agriculturalland efficiency is still poor in NongAn country, agricultural land can not give full playto the natural conditions.Due to the need for a balanced land accounts for up,the development of unusedland to cropland,added a total area of arable land was3265.64,the average of usegradation was11.80, capcity was19904,capacity is positive.The total area of606.64ha in reduction of arable land among2010-2012in NongAn.The total loss capcity was5703.Reduction in arable land mainly occupied. Changes of nature gradation strength was1among2010-2012inNongAn.Because factor index rroperty value on natural quality unchanged. Theaverage of use gradationg strength was1.302in2010.Description arable productioncapacity in2010was significantly higher than in2002. The average of economygradation strength was0.946..Changes of economy gradation strength was-0.47.Theeconomic benefits of arable production is declining.The average of use gradationgstrength was0.904in2011.Changes of use gradation strength was-1.0441.Description arable land use gradation in2011was significantly lower than in2010.
