A basis point of Thomas Kuhn’s thought, with oscillating between incommensurability andcommensurability, translation and untranslatable on successively scientific theories, and the tensionbetween the fracture and continuity perhaps can be considered as a basis on Kuhn’s academic career.Incommensurability which obtained from Aristotle’s experience and demonstrated in gestalt switch, actually confused the role of historians and scientists, is also mostly sensible, what remains to becriticized, firstly been a strong sense of the overall incommensurability, later by many scholars andinspired by Quine, Kuhn began to accept that incommensurability is untranslatable and restricted it tolanguage, so what to compared with Paul Karl Feyerabend, highlighting the tension of Kuhn’sincommensurable theories about where the distinguished the acquisition process between thelinguistic and non-linguistic, discovered cognitive mechanisms of learning to resort standards andsimilar relationships, migration of assimilation and accommodation. meanwhile, inspired by lateWittgenstein and B.Whorf, I intend to explore why Thomas Kuhn tend to take scientific revolution aslanguage revolution, which the significance of the concept changed that is rather than ’strong program’relativism of non-constructivist from the living world to a reflection on the history in Whig and thatapproach on philosophical style also shifted from naturalistic description to priori linguistic analysisin Kuhn, in this dissertation, cognitive mechanism of conception change mainly should to understandhis work what supports and develops Kuhn’s late thought. For its existence of scientific rationality, this paper said,’hard core’ theory of scientific development, technological paradigm andincommensurability in cultures between Chinese and Western, in particularly understand the contextof Kuhn’s justify rationality on irrational and non-relativism, whose distinction Quinn translatecommunity at the perspective of the alleged semantic has the ’local exchange interrupt’ place thatmainly re-communicate with each other in the hermeneutics of philosophical interpretation. But in hislate years Kuhn hints that we should see his late thought from a cognitive perspective. Some cognitivescientists begin to utilize the fruits of cognitive science to explain the nature of conceptions and thecognitive mechanism of conception change, in a sense those works supports and develops Kuhn’s latethought. The advancing theory of incommensurability, involves postmodernist theory that researchmajor topics of split identity, discourse analysis, and the use of language and meaning, vaguelanguage interpretation and uncertainty, as well as the Philosophy of Science ’Linguistics Turn’ in thelate Kuhn era.Paradigm theories adjustment from dynamic to static, saying that incommensurable some extent tomeet the requirements what is not without problems about the theoretical constructs on the world and the universe, he and his opponents take the aim of his later work as to fill in the Philosophicalskips.Kuhn incommensurability must be all about the scientific knowledge of evolution, history oroutlook on development. This article combed that exploration on Kuhn’s thought would change tolanguage and cognitive, combined with Kuhn’s natural sciences academic background as base on thehumanities perspective of philosophy, psychology, language, technology and culture, so that proposedby image schema and metaphor-based language, of which was partial or incomplete communication, using of dialectical philosophy, analysis and phenomenological research methods, analysis ofincommensurable linguistic turn, the translation and the alleged of uncertainty to abandon Gestaltperception interpretation, which reflects together the naturalization and cognitive-turn in philosophyof science grasped the nature of scientific practice....
