Research On Integration Of Maternity Insurance And Medical Insurance In Quanzhou

Maternity insurance is an important part of social insurance. Since its birth in newChina in1951, we have made many achievements after years of exploration andreform in the maternity insurance system. Along with the further reform of it, manypractical problems, such as narrow coverage, the accumulation rate; lack ofreasonable compensation for the enterprise, the heavier the burden on enterprises, thelow level of legislation, have not been solved. After the comparative study of medicalinsurance systems in Quanzhou, and learning form the advanced experience of othercities, this article is intended to put up with the new idea of integration of maternityand medical insurance, based on the practical condition in Quanzhou, which isdifferent from the simple study of maternity insurance. The integration of maternityand medical insurance is not the simple combination of the two insurance systems.By studying the feasibility of the merging, and putting up with the suggestion of themode of the integration, this article emphasizes the reasonable fund mode, birthallowance mode, proper insurance benefits, and maternity insurance servicesmaintenance and expansion.
