The Research On Business Model Transformation Of Securities Company

Since the establishment of Chinese securities market in the1990’s. China’s capital market has experienced magnificent events such as China’s first stock public offering in1984;the first securities company was founded in1987;T-bond futures market was closed in1995;the Securities Law of the People’s Republic of China was implemented in1999;the first stock was delisted in2001; Split share structure was reformed in2005;Shanghai Composite Index was hit the highest point in2007;Growth Enterprises Market was opened in2009;stock index futures was introduced in2010.Until now, the financial and securities markets are undergoing a new round of changes.Since the CITIC Securities was founded in1995, it Adhered to the principle of "sound operation, to be creative"and continuously developed, and right now the CITIC Securities goes straight to the first position among the current securities industry. The CITIC securities has began to create business innovation and transformation when facing the rapid change of the market structure and industry within the fierce competition environment.As the only one securities business department of CITIC Securities in Chengdu,it also need to be active in the business of innovation and transformation.The main purpose of this paper is that through analyzing the operating data and the competition environment of CITIC Securities and its business department in Chengdu, studying some files about the business of innovation and transformation from CITIC Securities,the another attempts to explore the trends and the path of the Chengdu business department of CITIC Securities and its financial center.In this paper, at first the author collects and analyzes recent business data of CITIC Securities and its business department in Chengdu.And at the same time the author elaborated CITIC Securities’s recent business innovations and overseas development.Secondly,the author analyzed the competitive environment for the CITIC Securities’business department in Chengdu by using the SWOT model and the Porter five forces model. Then, the author learns about business innovation and transformation theory files from CITIC Securities headquarters,and summed up the main ideas and guiding ideology of CITIC Securities on business innovation and transformation.Finally, through researching organization structure and the present situation of CITIC Securities business department in Chengdu and its financial centers, I Further explore the trends and implementation path of financial center.In this paper, the author explores business innovation and transformation of CITIC Securities’the business department in Chengdu by using the methods of data management, statistical analysis, case studies.And finally the author Concludes that the development of CITIC Securities business department in Chengdu and its financial center can be realized by carrying out the cooperation with banks and network platform.
