According to statistics, more than80%of the international trade of goods in the world is delivered by sea transport. Therefore, the international shipping industry has indivisible and close ties with the world economy and international trade. The freight forwarder is the bond of contacting the carrier, trade port and the owner, playing an important role in the smooth delivery of the goods in international trade. At present, since the outbreak of the global financial crisis in2008, the world economy was severely affected, the international trade fell rapidly, and our country’s shipping industry has also been hit hard, with many shipping agency company faces a major crisis of survival.S company is a small, medium-sized freight forwarding company in Qingdao, Since there is no clear development direction and corporate strategy, together with the influence of the financial crisis, for nearly three years, the company hasn’t made any development, instead, the profit margins are declining year by year, facing serious survival crisis. Under such circumstance, it is significant and practical for S company to know how to develop practical and feasible strategies, accurately grasp the internal and external environment, respond effectively to the market crisis and seek opportunities to ensure the company’s survival and further development.This paper, firstly, expounds the S company’s strategy present situation, pointing out the existing problems. Secondly, S company’s external and internal environment will be analyzed, and the evaluation method and IFE matrix, EFE matrix will be used to evaluate the S company’s external and internal factors; Thirdly, use the SWOT analysis method to clarify the S company’s external opportunities, threats and internal strengths, weaknesses, and sum up the strategy of selection. Fourthly, for optional strategy, use the analytic hierarchy process (ahp) matrix to calculate, and the analysis and choice is suitable for the development of the S company’s strategy; Finally, formulate the strategy implementation of the specific solutions and measures to prevent risks.This paper, Using the S company’s past financial data and the latest research data, with a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis, from the angle of developing advantages, responding to threats, the company has established long-term effective corporate strategy.
