| During the Eleventh Five-Year Plan, Phosphate fertilizer industry has made tremendous development in China. Excess production was over20%in2010. under the background of low profits or even losses, Phosphate fertilizer production enterprises had to adopt all kinds of measures to improve the level of management and enhance their competitiveness. EAM has been widely applied and achieved initial results in Yunnan Yuntianhua International Chemical Co., Ltd (YTHIC for short).This article is divided into five parts. the first part describes the background and the significance of analysisã€the domestic and foreign research on this topic. The second part describes the theory and development trend of equipment management, the development trend of EAM, and has analyzed the development stage of information system of YTHIC. The third part has analyzed the characteristics of the equipment management of YTHIC, the problems on equipment management, and the system requirements of the EAM construction, introduced the system structure has been built. The fourth part analyzes the adaptability and scientificity of the YTHIC’s EAM construction and application, based on the theory and the development trend of equipment management.
