Study On Standardization Of Engineering Construction In Shandong Province

Provincial standardization of engineering construction is an important part ofnational standardization of engineering construction and an essential part ofimproving the standardization system of engineering construction and theimplementation of national standards and industry standards of engineeringconstruction. Our country encourages the provinces, autonomous regions, andmunicipalities directly under the Central Government to issue the relevant localstandards on the basis of national standards combined with the local characteristicsand carry out standardization work with local characteristics.Until December2013, Shandong Province has issued118construction standards,involving various fields of engineering construction of housing construction, urbanplanning, urban construction, industrial construction, which achieved certain resultsand played a positive role of improving the quality and efficiency of economicoperation in Shandong Province, and promoting the sustained and healthy economicdevelopment and social harmony and stability, and stimulating the construction ofeconomic and cultural province. At the same time, there are still some problems ofengineering construction standards in Shandong Province, such as low overall levels,poor implementation of the standards, inadequate supervision and lack offunding,which restricts the development of standardization in Shandong Province.The report of17th congress of Shandong provincial Party committee announces toaccelerate the changing from "made in Shandong" to "created in Shandong","designedin Shandong" and "standarlized in Shandong", and promote the work of Shandongengineering construction standards. Therefore, it is a very urgent task to accelerate thestandardization work of engineering construction in Shandong province.This paper compares and analyzes the standardization of engineeringconstruction of some developed countries, such as USA, England, Germany, Japan,etc. and the development situation of national standardization of engineeringconstruction and provincial standardization of engineering construction, providing an important reference and basis for the standardization research of engineeringconstruction in Shandong Province.On the basis of a survey about standardization of engineering construction inShandong Province, this paper summarizes the status quo and achievements ofstandardization of engineering construction in Shandong Province, analyzes theproblems of managing, issuing, and supervising he standards of engineeringconstruction. Combined with the current development needs of economy, science andtechnology, culture in Shandong Province, this paper finally makes some developmentmeasures and suggestions to standardization work of engineering construction ofShandong Province.
