At present, China’s third-party logistics enterprises is becoming increasingly competitive in the traditional field of logistics, the development of logistics industry have adopted value-added services to improve competitiveness, therefore, as an important forms of logistics financial services, chattel mortgage business is becoming the focus of the third-party logistics enterprises. However, the development of China’s logistics financial business is still immature, the system, and regulations are not perfect.From the perspective of third party logistics, this article with H logistics company chattel mortgage business risk assessment as a starting point, begins with detailed description of the concept of logistics finance, patterns, chattel mortgage concept, characteristics, principles, practices, values, models, processes, regulatory methods. Followed by the author’s field survey as well as the guidance of instructors, used the questionnaire survey and based on the use of spssl7.0software for the project analysis, factor analysis, reliability and validity analysis, H logistics company established risk factors framework model of chattel mortgage business and summed up the six representative factors and21two risk evaluation. After the establishment of the evaluation index system, we use AHP and entropy method to determine the index weight and use fuzzy to complete comprehensive evaluation of risk. Finally the introduction of cases, the use of risk assessment model previously determined the chattel mortgage on the business case risk assessment, reflecting the practical value. The research not only provides solution of the H logistics company chattel mortgage business risk assessment problems, but also has a certain significance on the country’s third-party logistics enterprises of chattel mortgage business risk management.
