Research On The Informalization Application System For China’s Food Safety Regulation

With the rapid development of China’s economy and the continuous improvement ofthe people’s living standards, people’s concepts of health are rising. In recent years, China’sfood safety problems happen frequently, which caused widespread concern. As food safetyhas a significant impact on people’s lives and the social stability and development, it’s ofgreat significance for the consumer or the government to strengthen food safety regulation,establish and improve the food safety regulation system to ensure food safety. This paperdraws on the idea of the whole food supply chain to achieve the whole regulation "fromfarm to table". There are four types of food supply chain: dumbbell food supply chain, T-food supply chain, symmetric food supply chain and mixed food supply chain. Accordingto the causes of food safety issues, this paper analyzes the key factors of the whole foodsupply chain, which we should focus on monitoring.Meanwhile, the rapid development of information technology provides a newregulation method for the food safety issue. This paper integrates computers technology,communications and network technology, combined with the current situation of China’sfood production, analyzes the demand elements of China’s food safety regulation, anddesigns China’s food safety regulation informalization application system. The systemincludes food safety regulation body, application systems, infrastructure, database systemsand related technical support systems. They are integrated to a food safety regulationsystem.Finally, this paper uses Tianjin agricultural internet of things and Olympic foodtraceability system as examples, analyzes the application of food safety regulationinformalization system based on the whole food supply chain. The case of Tianjinagricultural internet of things can record vegetables information of the whole supply chainand trace the source, which provides information support for government. Olympic foodsafety traceability system uses RFID technology throughout the food supply chain, whichachieves accurate and effective delivery of food information among the various sectors. Atthe transport part of the supply chain, transport vehicles integrated temperature sensingtechnology, GPS, electronic maps and wireless transmission technology, can be real-timemonitored by the government. Two successful cases prove that the application of foodsafety regulation informalization application system will help improve food safety andprovide valuable experience for the nationwide promotion.
