Risk investment as a new type of investment and financing system, gave birth tothe new economic point of growth, promotes high-tech achievement transformation.The risk of investment since the date of birth, many scholars devoted to the research onthe operation mechanism and the withdrawal mechanism, there are also many scholarsin the study of the relationship between risk investment and economic growth, but mostof these researches are limited to theoretical research, there are some small amount ofpositive empirical study. This paper is mainly through the two aspects of theoretical andempirical research on risk investment and economic growth in china.Firstly, the meaning and characteristics of risk investment are described, and thenstudy the current situation of the development of venture investment in China from theaspects of risk investment related policies in China, venture capital operationmechanism and exit mechanism. In addition, this paper also present the development ofrisk investment is American compared, and put forward suggestions on the developmentof risk investment in china. The main content of this paper is an empirical study on therelationship between risk investment and the development of economy, this chapter bysummarizing previous research, validation from the theoretical level, risk investment topromote economic growth. On the other hand, through the establishment of riskinvestment and economic growth regression, correlation analysis of risk investment andeconomic growth, and using the method of Grainger causality test to verify thecorrelation between risk investment and economic growth.Finally, the main research contents of this paper are summarized and reviewed, andpoints out the deficiencies and the direction for future efforts.
