Coordination Analysis Of Power-coal Supply Chain Of Power Generation Group

With the development of global marketing, competition among enterprises is increasing because none of an enterprise can operate without its up and downstream enterprises. Competition among enterprises has been transformed into the competition between supply chain. The application of supply chain management and cooperation between supply chain members is enforced. However, the overall benefits of supply chain should be decreased when every enterprise of the supply chain aims at enlarging its own profits, which is named as "double marginalization". Coordination contract is a useful solution to reduce this. The supply chain members can provide appropriate information and incentives to ensure the supplying and optimize the profits through contacting.The thermoelectricity generation will be the fundamental mode of our country generates electricity in a long period of time, so coal will be increasingly important for China power and economic development. The conflict between coal and electricity is a key issue which has gotten more and more attention in recent years. Coordination of coal supply chain has an important effect on the economic development of our country.This paper studies on the coordination of coal supply chain basing on revenue-sharing contract and combining with the Chinese conditions. The coal supply chain is simplified to a three-stage supply chain which contains coal supplier, coal storage and transportation center(distributor) and coal-fired power station(retailor) in this paper, and the appropriate contract need to be implemented to make each enterprise’s profit and the overall profit close to pareto optimum.The analysis in this paper will boost the coordination in coal supply chain and improve the performance of enterprises, enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises and reduce the cost of coal supply chain. It will provide theoretical and technical reference for further research in the future.
