After the “tenthfive-year” period along with the rapid development of social economy in Liaoning province,some major economic indicators in the province growth that go beyond the average level inour country, for the complete comprehensive revitalization of Liaoning economy laid a solidfoundation. Because of this, clarify existing area of Liaoning province economic situation willhelp to improve the occasion to strengthen the province area of foreign economic relationsand further promote the development of economy. Based on each city in Liaoning provincedevelopment situation and the existing condition, from the2001years since the "tenthfive-year plan", in2006and2011, as the time node, based on the intensity of urban flowmodel and geo-economic relationship model to urban spatial economic contact strength,function and space angles properties, such as economic ties to the14cities of Liaoningprovince economic ties between the measurement and analysis, the following conclusions are:(1) From the overall perspective, the agglomeration and radiation effects in Liaoning provinceis stronger, good momentum of economic development, has formed "the Shenyang-Dalian"double "Shenyang-Fuxin" situation and strongly polarized phenomenon;(2) A provincialcity distribution differences on internal industry departments, between departments ofindustry and the development of the city economic development caused by uneven obviousuneven phenomenon;(3) In addition to shenyang and dalian city outside the province’s mostof the city’s overall economic strength and foreign comprehensive service ability notharmonious unity between them. Most urban overall economic strength relative tocomprehensive service ability is relatively lagging, and lag degree is more severe.(4) Theprovincial spatial structure distribution with the center of Shenyang as the center peripherystructure characteristics, at the same time part of the economic ties between the two cities isnot quite close together and uneven development trend is obvious. Drill weaker economicdistribution in the peripheral region of the city, but its development potential should not beoverlooked.(5) Shenyang and Dalian and other cities in the province the geo-economicrelationship between the threshold amplitude, although there are different but due to smallvariations in did not result in Shenyang and Dalian city with other cities space economic tiesbetween the nature of the wide range of more obvious change, still keep originalgeo-economic relationship with most of the city type.
