With the acceleration of urbanization process in China, the urban agglomeration hasbecome the main form of urbanization development. In recent years, theBeijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration has received more and more attention. But atpresent it has larger development obstacles in all aspects of the market, industry, infrastructure and environment. Therefore, based on the spatial interaction theory, thisstudy uses empirical analysis to research the spatial contact of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebeiurban agglomeration. This article is divided into four parts. The first part introduces the background and significance of this study, economicspace contact’s research status of urban agglomeration at home and abroad, and theresearch methods and technical route. And it expounds the basic theory of urbanagglomeration, and the present situation and main obstacles of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebeiurban agglomeration. These lay the groundwork for the quantitative analysis. The second part selects and constructs "city quality" and "economic distance" indexsystem to correct the model of intensity of economic relation; Then it uses principalcomponent analysis to determine the "city quality",and calculate the economic ties’sintensity and economic membership degree; Finally it determines the economic tiesbetween the cities in the urban agglomeration. The third part introduces the model of intensity of urban flow, and calculates themajor industrial sector location entropy, urban flow tendency degree and intensity of urbanflow. Then it determines the cities’ advantage industry and the status of the outgoingfunction connection in urban agglomeration. The fourth part compares the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration with theYangtze river delta and the pearl river delta to learn from experience; Again in order tosolve the existing problems, it puts forward the proposal to increase theBeijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration spatial economic ties. |
