The Research On The Economic Link Of Central Cities In Fujian Province Based On The Modified Interaction Model

The degree of dependence on economic among countries is deepened by economic globalization. The economic contact intensity among cities is promoted by the regional economic integration. The division of regional industries is the root cause of economic contact generating. The development of productive forces promotes the division of regional industries and weakens the influence of the factors of restraining economic contact intensity. The transport infrastructure of Fujian province has entered the great development period since2000. The transit time gradually shorten among the cities accelerate the intensity of flow, and enhance the intensity of economic contact among cities.In accordance with the relative theory of economic contact and the research on the economic contact at home and abroad, the index of Krugman and the transit time were introduced to improve on the traditional interaction model in this paper. The characteristics of space-time of the economic contact among the inland central cities, the coastal central cities, between the coastal central cities and the inland central cities in2000and2009were researched by this new model. And this thesis explains what cause the variety of the intensity of the economic contact from the angles such as the capability of economic radiation of central cities, the division of regional industries, the development on transport infrastructure and the policy. Then, from the comprehensive economic strength of central cities, optimizing industrial structure, improving and perfecting transport infrastructure construction, and implementing co-ordination measures, the thesis puts forward proposals to strengthen the economic contact intensity among central cities.
