Study On Sustainable Development Of Xinjiang Urbanization

Sustainable development has become a consensus as a concept ofdevelopment. Sustainable development of the region and the city is animportant part of sustainable development strategies, as well asconsiderable economic and social progress in the important part. Enhancethe capacity for sustainable development is an effective safeguard forregional economic development, while the region will become a strongdriving force for urban development.On the one hand, urbanization itself is a significant symbol of humancivilization and social progress, and its importance is self-evident. Sincethe reform and opening up, China’s economic development achievementshad attracted worldwide attention, which also led to the rapiddevelopment of urbanization. But the traditional path of China’seconomic development depends mainly on namely the extensive mode ofdevelopment which also leads to corresponding negative external effects.Significant damage to the ecological environment also hinders the urbandevelopment process in the city and the surrounding area. On the otherhand, the relationship between them in the Xinjiang region is moreunique, because in recent years the Xinjiang region has become animportant focal point of the country’s western development strategy.Relying on the inherent advantages of a variety of social, natural andeconomic resources, rapid social economic development has been achieved. But the extensive growth mode on the characteristics of China’smacroeconomic performance also presents in the local areas, these arelong-term sustainable development of the Xinjiang region raised newproblems and challenges, so that the ecological preserve and protect theenvironmental sustainability has become a city of indispensable support.Therefore, we explore how the Xinjiang region between the externalenvironment, urbanization, resource ecology, economy and achievepositive interaction with symbiotic avoid new serious problems from theroot, which for the whole region and even the country’s sustainabledevelopment is of great benefit.This paper introduces the theory of urbanization and sustainabledevelopment from the perspective of population urbanization level ofurbanization development in Xinjiang, and concurrent with the nationallevel of the horizontal comparison. Later chapters build population,resources, environment, economy and society as a subsystem of theXinjiang city evaluation index system of sustainable development, usingMATLAB software and Excel software, through the Analytic HierarchyProcess (AHP) Sustainable Cities in Xinjiang develop the ability toevaluate. Problems and Causes of the process of urbanization in Xinjiangevaluation system based on this analysis. The rear end portion of Xinjiangactually put forward countermeasures and suggestions Xinjiangsustainable urban development: implementation of circular economy strategy, the implementation of compensation for the use ofenvironmental resources; strengthen ecological and environmentalmanagement; strengthen urban ecological protection and construction.Finally, the study carried out in this paper summarizes the overall outlookand expectations of sustainable urban construction.
