Research On The Coordinated Development Of Tourism And Urbanization In Xinjiang Under The Context Of Industrialization- Urbanization Integration

Currently,the development of tourism in Xinjiang gains adequate attention of the government of the autonomous region and country,and tourism has gradually become a pillar industry of Xinjiang,the government of the autonomous region believes that tourism is the primary focus of “Beautiful Xinjiang” construction and puts forward the strategy of "tourism rejuvenating Xinjiang".At the same time,the urbanization construction of Xinjiang has been steadily climbing to a new level in recent years,at the end of 2017,the urbanization rate of Xinjiang reached 49.38%,the quality of urbanization is also improving.But what can't be ignored is that there are also many problems in the process of development.The harmonious Development of Tourism and urbanization is the Internal requirement to ensure the healthy and Sustainable Development of Regional economy,Therefore,the discussion of this issue is of great significance for the development of social economy of Xinjiang.On the basis of reviewing the relevant research and theory,this paper analyzed the coordinating mechanism of tourism and urbanization in Xinjiang,and used quantitative analysis to analyze and evaluate the interaction and coordinated development of tourism and urbanization in Xinjiang.First of all,selected the evaluation index of urbanization level and tourism development of Xinjiang,and used entropy method to evaluate and analyze it,and constructed a vector error correction model to verify the dynamic relationship between tourism and urbanization of Xinjiang.Secondly,the paper evaluates and analyzes the coordinated development of tourism and urbanization in the whole autonomous region and all the prefectures by using the coupling coordination degree model.Finally,according to the research results,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the coordinated development of tourism and urbanization in Xinjiang.The main results are as follows:(1)The tourism and urbanization levels in the whole autonomous region and in 15 prefectures and cities as a whole show a sustained growth trend.The development level of tourism in all prefectures and cities lags behind the process of urbanization,so it is necessary to push forward the development of tourism in order to realize the coordinated development of tourism and urbanization.In addition,the phenomenon of "one city being the only big" is obvious,showing great regional differences.Urumqi is in the absolute leading position in the development of tourism and urbanization,the development level of South Xinjiang is far lower than that of North Xinjiang.(2)There is a long-term equilibrium relationship between tourism and urbanization in Xinjiang,The comprehensive development level of the two is a two-way Granger causality.In the short term,the development of tourism in Xinjiang is more influenced by its own inertia force,and in the short term,the development of tourism has a significant positive effect on the urbanization of Xinjiang.On the other hand,the urbanization level of Xinjiang has a negative impact on the development of tourism.In addition,the current level of urbanization in Xinjiang is not enough to promote the inertial development of urbanization,and even has a restraining effect in the short term.(3)The tourism and urbanization in Xinjiang are evolving from a dysfunctional state to a primary coordinated state.The level of coordinated development of tourism and urbanization in 15 prefectures and cities is relatively low,which is at the stage of imbalance,but its level of coordinated development is also increasing year by year in the last 10 years.The level of coordinated development of tourism and urbanization among the prefectures showed obvious differences,Urumqi was in the absolute leading position,and the coordination values of Ili,Changji,Altay and other prefectures were also relatively high.The coordination degree of tourism and urbanization in different prefectures and cities in southern Xinjiang is very low,which is in the state of moderate imbalance and serious imbalance,and the development of coordination degree in recent ten years is also relatively slow.According to the above conclusions and the problems existing in the coordinated development of tourism and urbanization in Xinjiang,the paper finally puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the differences between the whole autonomous region and prefectures and cities.
