Research On Reconstruction Of Urbanspace With Enterprise Migration Perspective

With the rapid development of globalization and regional integration, the economic factors of production flow frequently among regions and enterprises as the smallest unit of market economy make appropriate adjustments and change with the flow of production factors. The improvement and development of traffic conditions and communication technology have changed the economic environment outside the enterprises and the enterprises have accelerated the migration speed with the change in order to maintain and gain new competitive advantages. The process of urbanization develops rapidly and urban size is expanding under the economic transformation period. Enterprise migration in city has been driving upgrade of urban industrial structure and adjustment of urban spatial structure and integration. This paper attempts to study the reconstruction of urban space from the angle of migrations of enterprises and builds a new analytical framework to explore the reconstruction of urban space of Shaoxing from theoretical and empirical two aspects.The enterprises with low land productivity will be replaced by the enterprises with high land productivity in the process of reconstruction of urban space for the purpose of improving quality of urban space utilization. Land prices follow the law of diminishing from the center to outer, and some enterprises choose to migrate from the city center so as to reduce production costs; migration of enterprises play an important role in the reconstruction of urban space, thereby affecting the urban spatial structure the dynamic evolution of self-organization.The function of migration of enterprises to reconstruction of urban space mainly achieves through gathering to center and scattering to suburbanization. The enterprise centripetal aggregation gives effect for the reconstruction of urban space by changing the shape of urban space and urban land use patterns. At the macro level, the enterprise centripetal aggregation mainly affects the urban special structure and at the micro level, the enterprise centripetal aggregation mainly affects the model of urban land use. When the enterprises gather to the center in a certain size, the gathering area will appear the phenomena of decentralized economy because of increased cost of urban land, rising traffic congestion, environmental damage and other social costs. That is to say, the enterprises will scatter to suburbs when marginal cost is greater than marginal benefit. The reconstruction of urban space is the economic activities of city make the special change by gathering to center and scattering to suburbs and both migration of enterprises promote the changes and upgrading of urban spatial structure.In empirical parts, through the analysis of case that migration of enterprises of Shaoxing city, the proof of the theoretical framework of the article is given. Shaoxing city, located in the south side of Yangze River Delta, the migration of enterprises and the change of urban spatial structure are obvious in the context of economic restructuring and rapid urbanization. After study the location choice of migrated enterprises with Poisson and negative binomial models, it is found that the distribution pattern of location choice of migrated enterprises is in line with the principle of distance attenuation and the factors such as compensation for the use of land, improvement of traffic of suburbs, and development zones are the key ones for the migration of enterprises of Shaoxing city. Finally, analyze the problems produced in the process of migration of enterprises and reconstruction of urban space and make some relevant policy and recommendations.
