Study On The Chinese Small And Medium-sized Enterprise Using ERP To Promote Technology Innovation

Innovation is the source of power of national prosperity, it is the inherent requirement of national progress. And technological innovation is the source of human wealth, is the fundamental driving force of economic growth. Enterprises are the main force of technological innovation, technological innovation nowadays more and more small and medium-sized enterprises obtain competitive advantage and economic dependence. Enterprises can enhance the enterprise’s core competencies and competitive ability through technological innovation, not just a simple technical problems, it is a management issue. Technology innovation information promotes the management of information technology, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is a management information system for small and medium-sized enterprises tailored, using ERP to promote technological innovation of SMEs in China is the efficient means in the era of knowledge economy. ERP integrated as a means of information management and advanced management ideas and methods, can meet the requirement of technological innovation of small and medium-sized enterprises.This paper first analyzes the status of application of ERP approach to our SMEs, technological innovation of SMEs and ERP enterprise resource planning framework. Then it educes the principle and application mode of our SMEs using ERP to promote technological innovation. On this basis, through the typical case demonstrating the feasibility of ERP strategy, it has the certain reference significance for our SMEs to carry out technical innovation.
