In recent years, with the rapid development of Chinese economy, the improvement of people’s living standard, automobile industry has also developed rapidly in the ten years since2003, more and more companys enter to the automotive R&D and manufacturing areas. The market launcing speed of vehicle models is much more quick, the price competition has become increasingly fierce. The intense competitive environment forces automobile enterprises to reduce car prices, and strive to improve the productivity and the cost of car potential mining.The intense market competition causes the vehicle price dropping, which are substantially reduced the profits of the enterprise space, so enterprises need to constantly spend great effort to reduce the cost especially the cost of vehicle parts. For the joint venture enterprises, most of the parts are imported from abroad, the cost of production, customs, logistics and management is too high, so the domestic automobile parts of emerge as the times require. Simply speaking, domestic auto parts refers to the original design, development, production in foreign parts to home design, development, production, this is also the key task of a large number of joint ventures.Localization is based on KD and its corresponding standards (including product design, technology) in the process of production parts in china. Completely copy or as part of the change process of part development in KD based on KD, as well as through Domestic Company to purchase and simply change KD sourcing channels are made. This paper discusses in detail the present domestic production situation of ZZ company, and the problems occurred in the process of localization, and on the basis of foreign joint ventures do not match, the localization of the cycle is too long, the localization project tracking is not timely, part localization recognition and KD deletion process is slow, the supplier evaluation system is not scientific, the domestic parts supplier development and management level the lower the ZZ, the communication between the company various departments not free problem is described and discussed its deep-seated reason,combined with project management, supply chain management and6S and other methods to formulate corresponding countermeasures, such as strengthening communication with foreign joint ventures, share domestic revenue;making the development plan considering integrated views; integrate the domestic supplier system, strengthening the strategic partnership with suppliers; seting up a scientific evaluation system of domestic suppliers;enhance the localization project tracking; clear responsibilities of various departments, improve work processes; speed up the localization of parts approval schedule; accelerate the KD delete schedule,and so on. In addition,the localization process at present has been redefined and optimization. After optimization, the domestic cycle is shortened by20%~30%, timely adopt domestic product has brought considerable economic benefits, and thus enhance the domestic parts enterprises management level.
