Research On The Plan Of The Automobile Ahassis Lightweight Components Localization Project In JT Company

The automobile lightweight has many advantages such as improving theacceleration performance, reducing the braking distance, facilitating actively safetycontrol, energy conservation and environmental protection. It has become the trend ofautomobile industry development all over the world, and it also becomes an importantsymbol of advanced technology level of the automobile makers and countries. China’sautomobile lightweight level still has obvious gap compared with abroad, so we needto deal with the components of the automobile so as to reduce its weight.JT company as the A-class supplier of FAW-Volkswagen, Shanghai Volkswagenand Chery, exclusively supply them components of automobiles such as lightweightaluminum alloy wheel bracket, steering knuckle,and so on. With the increasing salesof these automobiles, these companies make more collaborative matchingrequirements to JT company, while JT company existing imported production linecapacity can not meet the needs of these companies, JT is badly in need of increasingproduction line. But due to the high price of line production, maintenance, mould,spare components and depreciation from abroad. JT company decide to replaceimported production line using domestic equipment, aiming at improving theproduction of lightweight components, saving investment, and reducing foreignexchange at the same time.This paper analyzed JT company status of automobile lightweight componentsproduction, and found the existing problems.We also described the external andinternal environment that JT company meets, and determined the project planningobjectives, principles, construction content and scale. And then, we made the projectconstruction plan, including project technical solutions, equipment and engineeringsolutions, and expected benefit analysis.
