Study On Project Management Method In Aftermarket Product Quality Improvement Project For Automobile Spare Parts Manufacturing Enterprises

With development in automobile estate, the product technologies and prices are going to very similar in relevant automobile spare manufacturing enterprises, in that case, a new market be raised up which focus on product status from selling to scrapping. Only that the enterprises starts with aftermarket part services and have some product improvement to solve with the problem which users complain in the application, can the company get customer's satisfaction and reduce the compensation expense, meanwhile, to enhance the company competition. But in company C, the aftermarket product quality improvement project always can't follow the schedule as expectation, project prolonged time and additional resource request make the project can't meet the market requirement.Firstly, this thesis introduces the character of product quality improvement and aftermarket improvement, based on the analysis of PQI project definition and process in company C, points out its problems. Combine with project management theory, intends to output a suitable procedure of aftermarket product quality improvement project with introduction of some tool such as FTA and WBS, to ensure the project can be managed effectively. By this new procedure, the project manager can keep the project be in charge, meanwhile, members in the project core team can participate to it positively, and finally project be completed timely which will get all customer's satisfaction.In the end of the thesis, this new procedure and guideline be applied to one project(investigation of product bolt broken on XXX engine application). And the result show that with the help of new procedure, the project completed time be reduced sharply which meet the initial goal and proved that the procedure is feasible and reliable. Besides it works well in company C, it also can be a reference for other applications.
