With the acceleration of the process of economic globalization, a large number of the emergence of multinational corporations, transnational business activities of foreign enterprises have become increasingly frequent, however,globalization penetrate to strengthen at the same time, people’s self-identity, cultural self-identity, self-awareness of cultural identity is also strengthened.Different cultural backgrounds bring different ways of thinking, behavior, values and cultural differences, these cultural differences and cultural conflicts resulting in large part, directly or indirectly affect the implementation of the strategy of the transnational business, transnational cross-cultural management is imperative. Management practices are increasingly seeing the necessity and importance of cross-cultural management, how to form an effective corporate culture across national borders and become the core competitiveness of the thinking of multinational corporations. It is in this context, this paper mainly uses the method of case studies and questionnaires, Germany W Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Shandong Branch, for example, W Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the cross-cultural management case studies. This paper first introduces the theory of cross-cultural management, multinational companies operating in the inevitable existence of cultural differences and conflict, leads to the necessity and importance of cross-cultural management, and then compare the German and Chinese cultural differences and its impact and analysis, the last in-depth analysis of the problems in cross-cultural management in the W Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., through analysis, the W’s cross-cultural management countermcasurcs.This study shows that multinational companies is a special cross-border body, cross-national, cross-regional, cross-regime, must strive to build a different cultural environment suited to their development of the company’s corporate culture, the culture of the host country and home country to establish common values, moral standards and norms of behavior, to maximize the potential of employees to achieve optimal allocation of resources to enable enterprises to remain invincible in the fierce international competition. Cultural differences and the reasons for analysis according to the German W Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., it is recommended that the management of the company tlirough the complementarity of the cultural differences, collaboration, common values and cross-cultural training system, to build the company’s internal communication and exchange platform, and actively promote the human resources localization measures, to effectively improve the status quo of cross-cultural management of the W’s, to reduce the cross-cultural differences and conflicts, and provide a good guide and reference value for the implementation of cross-cultural management in China.
