The rural old-age endowment system is perfect is an important factor affectingconsumer demand. This phenomenon is caused by uncertainties about the future offamilies with the lack of endowment insurance system. Through the research, somemajor findings are achieved: improving rural endowment insurance can effectivelyreduce the uncertainty of rural residents’ consumption and consequently enhancefarmers’ consumption confidence, which further increases farmers’ consumptionexpenditure; the endowment insurances can directly increase rural residents’ income,improve living standard of rural residents and promote rural consumption.The whole thesis falls into four chapters. Chapter one is an introduction,including the basis of the selected topic, the objective, the significance, the innovationand the limitations. Chapter two is literature review, which consists of ruralendowment insurance and rural residents’ consumption. Based on the domestic andoverseas current situation of the research, the author shows us the significance of thepresent research. Chapter three is the focus of research papers, analyze the impact ofrural endowment insurance for rural residents’ consumption. First, rural old-ageinsurance and other factors are the main factors affecting consumption of ruralresidents; Second, from the elderly to pay pensions will increase disposable income,improve the pension system can increase the propensity to consume residents of ruralendowment insurance through income promote equitable redistribution analyzed threeaspects of the role of rural social old-age insurance in rural areas of the consumer;once again analyze the impact of consumption level of rural residents because of thelow level of farmers receiving low pensions, stability and continuity of the policy isnot strong,"The new agricultural insurance" bundled payment, farmers consumerattitudes and consumer psychology is relatively conservative; Finally, according todata analysis, implementation of new agricultural insurance and rural residents’consumption there is a positive relationship. Chapter four is recommended to improvethe promotion of rural endowment insurance consumption of rural residents,respectively unbundle payment from the step up publicity efforts to increaseinvestment in pension money and personnel to strengthen the management and supervision of funds, to promote convergence of rural endowment insurance andsocial security systems strengthen social protection of public opinion and legislativeproposals to promote rural endowment insurance; from increasing farmers’ incomeand enhance the spending power of rural residents, increase financial support foragriculture, agricultural economic structure adjustment, improve and optimize therural consumption environment, mining farmers ’consumption potential, improve thesocial security system in rural areas, improve farmers’ expected future incomeconfidence, consumer credit, rural development, improve rural financial servicesystem, strengthen publicity and education of farmers changing consumer attitudesand consumer behavior to promote the consumption of rural residents made specificrecommendations.
