The Analysis Of The Impact Of Environmental Regulation On China’s Export Trade Structure

Today’s globalization lead to trade barriers, continuously cut at the same time,the national environmental regulation level is rising. With the deepening of the degreeof trade liberalization, tariff barriers on the influence degree of the export trade, andthe different levels of environmental regulation will not only to a certain extentinfluence the structure of imports its own world, to a certain extent, also affect itsexport commodity structure. So many countries the focus of the public policy debatefocused on environmental quality problem, worried that the international standard ofenvironmental regulation between different countries and different degree ofenvironment regulation strictly differences can trade competitiveness of its exportsand industrial location distribution decisions.This article mainly from the perspective of the technology content of exports theanalysis of the effect of environmental regulation of Chinese export commoditystructure and coordinate with each other. This article selects27manufacturing data in2003-2003as the main research object, the reference of some professors’ paper, withreference to their manufacturing industry added value display (TV) in the order sincethe childhood is divided into low technology industry (TV<0.3or less), mediumtechnology industry (0.3<TV<0.6or less) and high technology industry (TV>0.6)in three kinds of results. And use the relevant method each subdivided into232kindsof products export data in various industries, it is concluded that China’s1994-2012and all kinds of merchandise exports accounted for the proportion of manufacturedgoods exports as export commodity structure classification method. Use energyconsumption and output measured value for the level of environmental regulationmeasure according to others methods to measure this value. In the empirical part ofthe selection of all kinds of merchandise exports account for all the goods is asexplained variable, the proportion of total exports will explain environmentalregulation indicators as an important endogenous variables, while the reference andthe former research on the influence factor of export commodities, joined the RMBexchange rate, FDI, R&D intensity, factor endowments (K/L) variables, such asfinishing three types of export commodities of27industry each index value of2003-2012, and then through the analysis of four panel data, data analysis found thatenvironmental regulation in the total level of our country can deposit in the total export commodities; At the component level have low technology industry productinhibition, but for the export of high technology industry products have a role inpromoting, but the size of the promoting effect have certain differences. So the finalconclusion: further improve the mechanism of the environmental regulation, within acertain range of the effective use of environmental regulation the policy variables, canto a certain extent, promote the low and high technology industry in China theinternational competitiveness of export commodities, and the optimization of thestructure of our country export commodities trade is good for a long time.
