The Study About The Government Role In The Area Of Residents Income Distribution

China has made great achievements in economic construction since the reform and opening up, meanwhile,people’s living standard has also been significantly improved.However, However, enormous dividends of the reform and opening up are not fair shared by all residents, serious problems arise in the field of resident income distribution:income gap becomes bigger and bigger between different residents, the pattern of resident income distribution is deteriorating,some residents’illegal income make the whole society more and more unfair,etc,From ancient time to now,income distribution problem is a key problem which is related to national affairs and people’s living, serious problems which appear in the field of resident income distribution not only affect people’s consuming standard, it will also affect the long term to the steady growth of the national economy, and it even affect the political stability and social long-term stability,the government should solute the problems appear in the field of resident income distribution,playing its role in the terms of its political functions,social function and economic function,etc.Based on the above background,this study will analyze the government’s function in the area of resident income distribution with a new perspective of New Institutional Economics,resolving government’s role,then several policy recommendations will be given at last.The study includes six chapters totally.The first chapter is introduction which mainly present the background and worth of the study,the study’s thinking and Structure,and finally the main research methods.In the second chapter,the writer reviews the income distribution theory and literature. The chapter firstly introduce China’s ancient thought of income distribution,then the paper sorts out Western income distribution theory and compares Chinese scholars’studies.pointing out features and shortcomings.The third chapter is the study of the evolution of the income distribution system,this chapter reviews the income distribution policy since the founding of our country first,accounting that the Chinese government leaded the reform of Chinese resident income distribution.In the fourth chapter,the writer use a totally new perspective to study the governments function in resident income distribution area,equity theory and nation theory and interest group theory,and so on,the writer research Chinese government role in a new viewpoint New Institutional Economics.The last part of the chapter is the role of government performance analysis, by constructing a mathematical model to analyze empirically investigate the performance impact of government fiscal expenditure structure of government social inequities through. Chapter V is conclusions and policy recommendations. By analyzing the full text,the writer gets a conclusion and gives a number of policy recommendations from the perspective of New Institutional Economics,while referring the results of the ahead empirical analysis.
