Natural Forest Protection Program (NFPP) as one of the key forestry programs in china, with complex and multiple objects, covers very large regions, affects numerous people. It has very important practical significance to analyze and evaluation the policy of NFPP using policy-evaluation method. This is setting the execution and effect of the policy of NFPP as analysis and evaluation objects, using the analysis and evaluation framework of public policy for reference, basing on the first-hand data of field research, then establishing analysis and evaluation system and evaluation index to estimate from efficiency and effectiveness in order to provide reference for government and promote sustainable development of the policy of NFPP.In closing, the research conclusions are as follows:for one thing, the main reason is that design of the policy is deficient and the management is imperfect, for another, execution of the policy is favorable generally, but there are some problems on the management.
