Green supply chains have received the extensive attentions from both academy andpractice. In this paper, we first study how the green development mode and CEA (consumers’environmental awareness) information acquisition affects the pricing strategy, the green leveldecision, and the performances of the supply chain members. We then analyze how tocoordinate the green supply chain. In chapter1, we introduce the concepts of the green supply chain and the related literature. In chapter2, we study how the green development mode and CEA information acquisitionaffect the pricing strategy, the green level decision, and the performances of the supply chainmembers. We first present the mathematical models under different scenarios, and then analyzethe equilibrium decisions and the equilibrium ex ante profits of the supply chain members underdifferent scenarios. By comparing the equilibrium results, we find that under informationasymmetry, the manufacturer’s superior CEA information benefits the supplier and themanufacturer, and thus improves the performance of the whole supply chain. Underinformation symmetric, the green development mode does not affect performances of thesupply chain members. The supplier’s superior CEA information always benefits herself morethan the manufacturer’s. The manufacturer benefits more from the supplier’s CEA informationthan from his own information if his information is less accurate. In chapter3, we study how to coordinate the green supply chain. Specifically, we considerthe revenue sharing contract. In a vertically-integrated supply chain, we study the supply chain’sdecision behavior and analyze the impact of consumers’ green preferences on the optimaldecision-making behavior. Then, we investigate the decentralized supply chain. By comparingthese two different situations, we find that revenue sharing mechanisms can be used tocoordinate the supply chain.
