In1991, China’s need for reform of the housing system, solve the housingproblems of urban workers, Shanghai from the Singapore Central Provident Fundsystem experience, the first in the country established a housing accumulation fundsystem, and then gradually to the national promotion of housing provident fund system.A housing accumulation fund system in our country has been more than20years, thehousing accumulation fund system during this20years, also like bamboo shoots after aspring rain continuous development. Housing provident fund system has laid a solidfoundation for the commercialization of housing, to improve the urban workers housingconsumption, and promote the development of the real estate market has played animportant role, has become an important force to promote the construction of housingsecurity system. With the continuous development of our country real estate market andsustainable prosperity, people increasingly high demand for housing, the loan amount isalso growing, and housing provident fund loans as policy loans, pay more attention to.However, in recent years, the housing accumulation fund loan size is expanding and thereal estate market is not stable, the risk of housing accumulation fund loan is also on therise, which will affect the safety of the housing accumulation fund, will endangerChina’s housing system reform achievements. Therefore, how to do well the housingaccumulation fund loans risk prevention work, ensure the safe operation of the housingprovident fund of funds has become a problem to be solved.In this paper, taking Nantong city as an example, mainly from several aspects ofthe housing provident fund management center, the borrower and the third party, adetailed analysis of the loan risk problem in Nantong city housing provident fund. Onthis basis, put forward to strengthen the loan risk monitoring, countermeasures and suggestions on establishing early warning mechanism of credit risk, to ensure the safeoperation of Nantong city housing provident fund.
