Research On Resource Sharing Mechanism And Resource Scheduling Strategy In The IIU Platform

With the development of network and information technology, a new round ofglobal Internet innovation is sweeping the globe. The next generation of Internet isnot only the foundation platform of science and technology innovation, but also thestrategic elements of the global technological competition. IIU federated platform as amultidisciplinary innovation platform which based on next generation Internet, one ofits main purpose is to achieve the opening and sharing effectively of Internettechnology experiment resources. How to sharing resources in the platform is the keyto promoting the sustainable development of IIU federated platform. This paperreferenced the theories of economics and cloud computing, the usage characteristicsof resources of the IIU federated platform were analyzed, the market mechanism wasintroduced to the process of resources sharing, the problem of resources sharing in theIIU federated platform were analyzed and researched. The main work of this paper is:(1) A resources sharing market model which is appropriate for IIU federatedplatform was proposed.The market model for resources sharing of federated members is put forward byanalyzing the usage characteristics of resources of the IIU federated platform, thecommercialization of the shared resources in the platform was proposed, and the costestimate method of merchandises was proposed.(2) Combining with the usage characteristics of shared resources in the IIUfederated platform, three resource sharing mechanisms which are appropriate for theresources sharing market of IIU federated platform were proposed.Negotiate compensation substitution mechanism of resources: the resourcessubstitution is finished by the negotiates of the resources be paid out, the deliverytime of resources and compensation scheme between the federated members;resources purchase beforehand mechanism: the federated members purchase theshared resources in the federated market beforehand according to their demand, andacquire the right to use the resources when time quantum which is purchased come; spot resources purchase mechanism: the federated members purchase the spotresources in the market and use the purchased resources immediately. The simulationexperiments proof that the resources sharing mechanisms proposed in the paper canpromote the resources sharing of the federated platform.(3) The computing resource scheduling strategy applied to the IIU federatedplatform, time-cost scheduling strategy, was proposed.The time-cost scheduling strategy of computing resource was proposed for theproblem of the server resources in the federated market may be underutilized. Thefederated members can use the leisure computing resource to finish computing tasksuch as data analysis and experiment simulation, so that the computing resource in thefederated market can be fully utilized. The simulation experiments proof that thescheduling strategy can balance the relation between budget and task completion timeof the federated members.At last, the dissertation has a summarization to the work of this paper, and thedirection for further research is pointed out.
