A Study Of PS In SAP Of State Grid Corporation Of China

Electric power industry use Information technology early. At1960’s, Information technology come into use in Electric power industry first time. Now every corporation makes great progress at many zones such as use computer control power plant, automatic attempter and so on. It already use in many department such as automatic substation management of charge, information system. In2006, the development trend of China State Grid Corp conforms to the present enterprise informationization started the implementation of ERP software. During the popularization of ERP in China, the problem is coming. The reason of the failure is not by having imperfect project management methods, also not by the defect of the software system or even not the in coordinate client. The main reason is to apply the methods from foreign country mechanically and do nothing for adjustment. It makes confliction during the implementation and lead to failure of the project.In this paper, the authors have the honor to participate in the national power grid SAP project implementation, and the main implementation of project management (PS) module. The implementation of the project in order to dominate, gradually introduced the SAP project in Chinese enterprises, how to use the standard ASAP project implementation methodology as a project implementation guidance in the implementation process of China State Grid Corp. After that, we will discuss the implementation of PS module in the China State Grid Corp. Finally, we can process to analyze and summarize the use of PS module of the advantages and problems in the project implementation.The method to practice this system achieves outstanding outcome in power enterprise. It provides reference to deploy SAP or ERP in power enterprise.
