A Study On Innovations Of Logistics Financial Services Based On Development Of Industry Chains

China’s economic development has always lagged behind the developed countries, the root-cause of which is its backwardness in industry chains, manifested in the unsmooth cooperation within industry chains and the problematical convergence between the industrial chains. These problems have resulted in the low level of cooperation and high operating costs. Logistics finance has eased these conflicts and to some extent, has promoted the healthy development of the industry chains. Nevertheless, some problems like the imperfectness of the current logistics finance in China, the diverse demands for the industry chains of the logistics financial services in different periods and the lack of supply to industry chains have led to the situation that the logistics financial services support the development of industry chain in a limited manner. Hence the research on innovations of logistics financial services based on development of industry chains must be carried out.The most important feature of this paper is that it is designed from the perspective of the life cycle of the industry chain’s development to make innovations in logistics financial services. Firstly, the paper systematically exposes some theories relevant to this research, such as the theory of industry chains’development, the theory of logistics finance, the theory of supply chain finance and the theory of financial service innovations, and draws a conclusion from them. Secondly, it analyzes the features of diverse demands for the industry chains of the logistics financial services in different periods in detail, and describes the lack of supply to industry chains of the current logistics finance. Last but not least, it makes a clear direction of innovations in logistics financial services, designs the specific content of the innovations and proposes the measures to guarantee innovations in logistics financial services, for the sake of laying a solid foundation for the healthy development of the industrial economy.
