The ocean that human involved accounts for71%of the surface of the earth.Behind in the global population, as the land resources, environmental resourceproblems becoming more and more serious, we need to develop and use the marineeconomy.At present, many countries have started to pay attention to the development ofblue economy. In2009General Secretary Hu Jintao visited Shandong at the time of"the important strategy of Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone" and in2011theconstruction of Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone rose to national strategy.The Chinese Communist Party in201218, the General Secretary Xi Jinping proposedstrategy to build a powerful ocean. In the situation of economic globalization andregionalization, the blue economic zone of the better and faster development need theintegration of regional economy.This paper firstly introduces the background, content, purpose and significanceof the Shandong Peninsula blue economic zone.
