The Research On Pattern And Path Of Coupled Development Of Industry And Urban Space In Changchun City

Changchun has not yet reached the stage of development to industrialization, andindustrial remains the leading industry in the Changchun city. With the rapid advanceof suburbanization of Changchun, the space of urban expands in the way of circlestyle. In this process, the uncoupled state of industrial space and living space, servicespace has been intensifying, which will hinder the rapid and sustainable developmentof Changchun’s industry and lead to separation of living and working,“tidal” trafficflow and so on. With the relationship between industry and residential space, servicespace as the object of the research, the paper analyses the current characteristics andtrend of the relationship of industrial and residential space, service space, traffic space.The research analyses the phenomenon of the separation of living and working causedby the uncoupled state. At last, based on summing up the mechanism of evolution onthe relationship between industry and urban space, this paper proposes the spatialpattern of urban and specific implement path which suits the coupled development ofindustry and urban space in Changchun city.This paper consists of seven chapters:Chapter I: Introduction. This section mainly introduces the research background,research objectives, research significance, research methods and roadmap andresearch focus and difficulties of the relationship between industry and urban space inChangchun city.Chapter II: Related theoretical study. This section defines the concept of urbanfoundations space and the coupled development of industrial and urban space. Itelaborates the theory on industrial and urban space, including industrial locationtheory and urban district function theory and so on. Meanwhile, it also combs theadvances and results on the research.Chapter III: The research on the relationship between industry and urban space ofChangchun city. Firstly, the research analyses the uncoupled state of development ofindustry and residential space, service space in Changchun city in terms of the needfor industrial development, current characteristics of industrial space, the currentfeature and the trends of evolution of the relationship of industrial and residentialspace, service space. Secondly, it divides four geographical spaces, including highlyemployment oriented, employ-led, live balanced job, residential-led, based on circleand administrative areas respectively, and analyses that the structural imbalance ofpopulation space is an important reason to trigger the separation of living and job.Thirdly, it analyses the escalating trends of uncoupled development of relationshipbetween traffic space and industrial space, living space and service space in light ofurban roads and rail transportation.Chapter IV: The analysis of mechanism of evolution of relationship betweenindustry and urban space. it summaries the dynamic mechanism of evolution of relationship between industry and urban space, from the perspective of industrialupgrading, spatial differentiation of land’ price, traffic orientation, planning guidanceand policy control.Chapter V: The coupling pattern of industry and urban space in Changchun city.The paper proposes the specific mode of coupling development of industry and urbanspace in order to promote industrial development rapidly and relieve traffic pressure.It also analyses the feasibility of the pattern.Chapter VI: the coupling path of industry and urban space in Changchun city.The paper proposes the specific implement path of promoting coupling developmentof industry and urban space of Changchun city, based on analysis of the trend ofspatial layout of urban functions of urban core, urban fringe and urban attractivedistrict.Chapter VII: Epilogue. It summaries the conclusions of above analysis andidentify the shortcoming of the paper. At last, it makes the outlook for the futureresearch.
