With the rapid deveplop of tourism industry in nowadays modern society and theextension of paid vacation days,choices of destination for tourist are growing. Amongall the tourism resources, Lakes,because of its Beautiful scenery, Sightseeing leisure,Health keeping and many other features turn to get more and more favour of all kindsof tourists. Therefore, domestic tourism experts and tourism developers pay more andmore attention to the study of lake tourism deveplopment and marketing, Solidfoundation for the development of domestic lake tourism.Bosten lake is the largest inland freshwater lakes in our country. Rich tourismresources and variety of geological landform types make it a typical tourist lake typein arid region. With the growing attention of Bayingolin Mongol AutonomousPrefecture towards the development of Bosten scenic area tourism and increasing ofinvestments, Bosten scenic area tourism development and planning, is moving bigstep toward the direction of national5A grade scenic spot and national comprehensivewetland park.This study takes successfully marketing lake tourism destination, theBaiyangdian lake scenic area as reference for research, through the comparison oftourism resources, tourism development situation and marketing model in BostenLake and Baiyangdian, provide scientific and feasible tourism marketing strategydecisions.(1)Bonding with the actual situation of the two tourist areas, classify the status oftourism resources in the two areas. Build the lake tourism resources evaluation indexsystem, Using Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to draw theimportance of every index value, distribute issuing questionnaires to draw the value ofeach index, substitute the value into the comprehensive evaluation model of tourismdestinations, result shows:the overall evaluation value of Bosten lake and Baiyangdian are67.89and72.73.(2)Through summarizing the history of tourism, and analyzing the advantagesand disadvantages of tourism development in two areas, conclude the problems anddirection of Bosten lake tourism development.(3)Build and analyze tourism marketing management mode and foundingconditions, summarize the work of establishing tourism image and marketing in thetwo areas.Under the success of tourism marketing model in Baiyangdian, put forwardfeasible suggestions and strategies to tourism marketing in Bosten lake.
