Study On The Coordinated Development Of The Urbanization And Industrialization Situation In Henan Province

Industrialization is the main driving force of urbanization, which has been provided the necessary material conditions. The development of urbanization promotes the population agglomeration, increases the number of cities, expands the size of the cities, improves the economic efficiency of the scale of industrial productions and cities, in turn promote the development of the industrialization. Excessive urbanization refers the level of urbanization development being higher than the level of industrialization obviously, a large number of rural population goes to a handful of large, medium cities, urban construction can’t keep up with the speed of population urbanization, urban can not provide the necessary jobs and living conditions for the residents, and causes serious "city disease", and forms a lot of "slums" in a big city.Lag of urbanization refers to the level of urbanization lagged behind the development level of industrialization, there will be a rural disease, such as industrial local-color, the amphibious of departing from agriculture population, disorder development of small towns, the deterioration of ecological environment. Lag of urbanization does not avail industrial modernization, agricultural modernization and the modernization of residents living. So only the coordinated development of urbanization and industrialization is the best mode of economic development in a country. As the main areas of the Central Plains Economic Zone, The healthy development of economy in Henan province is directly related to the construction of Central Plains Economic Zone and the great mission of rising of central China. So the study of the coordinated development of urbanization and industrialization is of great significance to the healthy development of Henan economy in Henan province.This paper analyses the current situation of the development of urbanization by using the comprehensive index method of Henan province and current situation of the development of industrialization, following on index selection of the index system of completeness, scientific nature,easy to take and integrating theory with practice etc. This paper selects ten indicators related to urbanization based on the principle of index selection. The ten indicators cover population, economy and society three aspects, and the initial indicators dimensionless processing, eliminate the index of the unit and different level’s influence on the results of the analysis. And calculate the weight of each index, and investment in fixed assets, fiscal income per capita, per capita disposable income of urban residents and per capita GDP is the main influence of Henan province urbanization indicators, and measuring the level of urbanization buy the measurement method from2002to2012in Henan province. On the analysis of the current situation of the development of industrialization in Henan province, taking the same analysis method and analysis of the urbanization, based on the calculation of index weight is per capita GDP, the Engel’s coefficient of secondary and tertiary industry, the proportion of secondary and tertiary industry practitioners, and the proportion of GDP has a great impact to the industrialization in Henan province, and Henan province showed a trend of rising the level of industrialization from2002to2012. In Henan province, on the basis of urbanization and industrialization development level respectively, the rate of urbanization and industrialization was co-integration test and granger causality test to determine whether there is relationship between the both, finally using the law of the international standard IU measure overall and18cities in Henan province is the degree of coordinated development of urbanization and industrialization, it is concluded that in addition to Zhengzhou city urbanization and industrialization is relative coordinate, other city in Henan province urbanization lags behind the industrialized development. Imbalance of industrial structure, deterioration of resources and environment, dual structure to highlight and insufficient consumption is one of the major problems of urbanization lagging behind industrialization in Henan province, finally according to these problems, this paper puts forward some suggestions to promote the coordinative development of urbanization and industrialization of Henan province, such as adjusting industry structure, going the green harmonious development road, balance urban and rural integration, and expanding domestic demand in Henan province etc.
