Research On The Economic And Trade Cooperation Between Henan And Taiwan Under The Background Of Central Plains Economic Region Construction

Central Plains Economic Zone Construction, regarding Henan province as the main body, and the surrounding areas in the center of China, which is important part for the implementation of the national strategy to promote the development of the central regions of China. Henan is currently making efforts to promote the Central Plains Economic Zone Construction, which is great opportunity for Henan-Taiwan further cooperation in broader fields. We should take seize of the opportunity to actively explore the new cooperation between Henan and Taiwan to promote common prosperity and development for both sides. It is an important part to achieve opening up of Henan province by promotion trade and economic development between Taiwan and Henan.Global economic integration and regional economic cooperation laid the foundation for economic cooperation between Henan and Taiwan province, which is to be enlightened win-win development and cooperation between both sides. We take the study of economy and trade cooperation between Henan and Taiwan province under the background of the Central Plains Economic Region Construction, and then especially make analysis of opportunity and challenge of economic cooperation, and finally offer the proposals and measures for economic and trade cooperation between Henan and Taiwan in future. It is laid the emphasis for the measures such as, establishment of regional cooperation mechanism, improvement of industry cooperation and service mechanism, and innovation investment activities, to enhance the emotional value. It will further enhance exchanges between the two sides and promote common prosperity and development. When the Central Plains region construction lightened to national strategy, Henan, as the hub connecting between the north and the south, the region has become increasingly prominent advantages to become the ideal place to undertake the transfer of industries and Taiwan-funded investment. With the gradual increase in Henan’s economic openness and active efforts to continuously enhance the utilization of foreign investment, trade and economic development presents a good development trend. The economic development between Henan and Taiwan, as an important part of the cross-strait economic and trade development, it shall develop under active planning and scientific guidelines, which is not only helpful to promote the interests of the people of Taiwan and the mainland contacts, and further resulting in a positive impact on cross-strait relations, but also good to enhance the compatriots on both sides of the identity and mission of reunifying the motherland.
