The object of the present study is hypermarket W which is a labor-intensive one has the traditional feature of the retail industry. The majority of the working is including the cashier, storage, front desk service, etc. and most of them are done by the new generation employees. In other words, the value of the hypermarket W is largely created by the new generation employees who working at the assembly line. With the replacement of the senior workers, more and more new generation staff members become the backbone of the stores and they play an important role on the development of the hypermarket W. In terms of the discrepancy of personality and background between the senior ones and the greenhands, the original staff management system of W has been out to meet the management of the new ones. Since the proportion of the employees resign has becoming bigger and bigger, the company has noticed the menace and it has tried to improve the management system. Although some progress has been made through certain methods of improvements, the hypermarket W still can not change the tendency of the ongoing rate.Through the in-depth company visits, the author working on the reasons of the employees resign and collected and analyzed and scientifically classified these reasons in details and finally concluded the factors and influences behind the every resign. The author also made the questionnaire and analyzed them and gave us the primary cause of this phenomenon as well as the feasible solutions.With the continuously opening market of China, the requirements of the excellent new generation employees will getting higher and larger. We should combined China’s current social environment system with the developed model to polishing the management mechanism. We also need to improve human resources management system according to the characteristics of the new generation employees. By doing this, the rate of the employees resign will reduce and the feasible solution will be find. The result of the case study of the hypermarket W is obviously referential to those other enterprises of this kind.
