With the development of economic globalization, as the forefrontindustry within the capital markets, the securities industry is facingunprecedented challenges. The security brokerage business, which is themain source of income of sales department, has been playing significant rolein the sales department of securities companies. Nowadays, the competitionof securities brokerage business becomes more and more intensify.Competition in the securities brokerage business, primarily, is thecompetition of talent personnel. Facing with rough market conditions,securities companies seek for survival and development within the fiercetalent competition by basing on the reasonable and sufficient utilization ofhuman resource management and establishing salesman compensationsystem suiting corresponding circumstances and companies’ own situation.Therefore, it should be the priority for securities companies to research andestablish salesman incentive system.In this paper, mainly incentive and incentive-related theories, as thetheoretical basis of the research and tools, are used to deeply analyze thecurrent incentive system of W Securities Corporation co-operating withquestionnaire and interviews research methods. The problems of existingcompensation system will be discussed from the idea, strategy, dynamics andobject perspectives. The compensation plan will be studied and improvedbased on the fairness, motivation, competition and economy principles ofcompensation design. The target compensation, benefit self-service and appropriate performance appraisal and other broadband incentive plans areproposed. These plans are analyzed with satisfaction investigation. Theresults show that most of the new program is basically acceptable formarketing staff, which will attract outstanding marketing staff and result inenhanced competitiveness of enterprises with a deeper and broader leveleffect on compensation. It will guide W securities company to achieve theoverall strategic objectives in both individual and department level.
