Abstract:In recent years, based on immoral business behaviors appeared frequently, ethical leadership as a new type of leadership have become the focus in academic and business areas at home and abroad. This paper researched the relationship of ethical leadership and corporate performance (organization performance, organizational commitment, job satisfaction and turnover intention), and the adjust effect of the management tenure and education level between ethical leadership and corporate performance.First of all, this research commented relevant concepts, theories and current situation at hone and abroad of ethical leadership and corporate performance. Second, we selected medium-top managements in enterprises as the research object. Based on maturity scale we designed ethical leadership and corporate performance questionnaires, and collected220valid questionnaires. Finally, using the SPSS17.0to analyze data, including reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation and regression analysis, we conducted the hypothesis test and found that:1.Ethical leadership questionnaire and corporate performance questionnaire which we used all have the good reliability and validity;2.The ethical leadership and its various dimensions have Positive correlation with organization performance, organizational commitment and job satisfaction, but the relation with medium-top managements’ turnover intention is not significant;3.The two dimensions of ethical leadership collective incentives and focus on sustainable development have significant impact on organization performance, organizational commitment and j ob satisfaction;4.The top managements’management tenure and education level were found to significantly moderate the relationship between ethical leadership and organization performance, organizational commitment and job satisfaction.These conclusions enriched the theory of the relationship between ethical leadership and corporate performance, and the same time, provided a theoretical reference for enterprises to strengthen management, improve enterprise performance and promote their sustainable development.
