With economic developing and technology progressing, the producing capacity of rice industry gradually increases,and the scale of the industry is growing.Now,the rice industry has no limitation in rice processing, but developed into a system covering many aspects,such as rice production,rice processing, storage and transportation as well as rice sales.If a rice business doesn’t manage these aspects,it not only can’t guarantee its production quality and control market risk,but will increase operating costs.So, the Beidahuang Rice Industry Group had also horizontally and longitudinally consolidated its industrial chain.By now,the rice group has standardized production bases, large-scale rice processing parks, large-scale sales companies,and a series of brands mainly to the Beidahuang pearlmillet, Wilderness Se rice and other rice-based brands, as well as a logistics information system.These make its industry chain as a whole chain, from the idyllic to the table,and include production, processing, marketing and logistics. But in operaion, its industrial chain integration has many problems,which lags the development of the Group.So this paper will research the industrial chain integration of Beidahuang Rice Industry Group, and this will provide reference on improving the effect of its industry chain integration,operational efficiency and competitiveness,etc.This paper chooses the Beidahuang Rice Industry Group’s industry chain integration as object.Based on the review of domestic and foreign research,and the theory of industries relation, core competencies, value chain analysis,etc,as well as according to the Group’s horizontal integration status of production, processing, marketing, branding, and longitudinal integration of logistics, food safety information integration,and industrial chain management coordination,this paper finds that the chain integration has many problems,such as operational efficiency of all aspects in industry chain needs to be raised, horizontal coordination needs to be improved, lack of marketing docking, core expertise speciality is not prominent, market advantage is not obvious, etc.Simultaneously in connection with these problems, and based on the survey and factor analysis.this paper identifies the main influencing factors, including intensive management degree, coordination degree, contact degree with outside.and analyzes their impacts on the industry chain integration.Then on this basis and conbined with the target,this paper gives some suggestions appropriate for the Group,including increase intensive manegement efforts,improve coordination of the industrial chain and strengthen links with external aspects,which will improve the Beidahuang Rice Industry Group’s industrial chain integration.
