Rice is one of the three major food crops in the world, and it is also the largest grain crop in China. It is the dominant position in grain production and consumption. Hunan province is the suitable region for rice production, it has superior natural conditions, a long history of rice, and rice planting technology level is high. Hunan Province is one of the most important grain production base in China, its'rice not only to be able to self-sufficiency, but also sold to Guangdong province, Shanghai city and other coastal provinces, and even exported to Southeast Asia, South America and other countries, it provides a strong guarantee for China's food security. But with the rises of the northeast rice, Thailand rice, Vietnam rice, as well as the heavy metal poisoning cases,Hunan rice industry facing unprecedented challenges, to regain the reputation of Hunan rice, to reform Hunan rice industry become the urgent affairs.This paper researched Hunan rice industry, the main research methods are literature review, statistical analysis, survey analysis and deductive induction. The main research contents for the following several aspects:First, overseas and domestic rice industry in planting, processing enterprises, products deep processing and rice trade; second, survey of the planting, processing enterprise surveys, deep processing industry investigation and rice trade in Hunan Province; third, existence question and reason analysis of Hunan Province rice industry; Fourth, how to solve the existing problems of the rice industry in Hunan Province.According to the above research, the conclusion is:the key to establish advantages are optimizing rice planting, screening of rice varieties, promotion of rice blending technology and rice deep processing. In order to eliminate the negative impact of Hunan rice. Under the support of the government, grain enterprises should to be effectively integrated, form a strong industrial chain, and consumer demand for the development of high profit products.In this paper, combining the history experience of the development of rice industry in China to explore the problems and Countermeasures of rice industry in Hunan Province, it is the unity of the natural view of materialism and materialist view of history, and it is a research model of innovation in this field. This paper focuses on the research of rice planting, primary processing, deep processing, trade, logistics and financial, and the recent problems of Hunan rice is main line, involving the breadth, with overall.
