With the development of economy, the human resources has increasingly becomethe important strategic elements of enterprise to win competitive advantage. Thecompetition between enterprises is evolved into the talent competition. However, dueto the highlighting of the problems of the sudden death of the office staff andjob-hopping recent years, more and more enterprises begin to pay close attention toimprove enterprise employees’ level of job embeddedness through effective humanresource management practices, broaden the channels for recruitment of talentedpersonnel, at the same time, the maximum to retain employees, and improve theirpsychological capital so as to create more value for the enterprise. Cultivate anddevelop employees psychological capital, at the same time, the maximum improveemployees’ level of job embeddedness is a strategic choice to win competitiveadvantages in human resources market.This study investigates the impact of human resources management practices onjob embeddedness with employee sample from different companies as the researchobject. Firstly, on the basis of previous literature, this study summarized the content ofthe human resources management practices and job embeddedness. Put forward atheory hypothesis and a model of this study according to relevant literature, a total of319questionnaires were handed out, using SPSS19.0to test the theoreticalhypothesis.The current study draws several conclusions as follows:(1) human resourcesmanagement practices can positively affect psychological capital;(2) psychologicalcapital can positively affect the level of job embeddedness;(3) human resourcesmanagement practices can positively affect the level of job embeddedness;(4)psychological capital could mediate the relationship between the human resourcesmanagement practices and job embeddedness.There are several innovations in this study. Firstly, deepen the research of humanresources management practices and is the first time to investigate the antecedentvariables of job embeddedness from the perspective of the human resourcesmanagement practices. What’s more, the relationship between these two variables wassupported by empirical research results. Secondly, bring the psychological capital tofurther explore the relationship. All in all, this study lays a foundation of the researchof the human resources management practices and psychological capital.
