| China keeps having continuous development of economy with high export growth. China is working as a driving force of the world economy as well as a great importance in the world. This paper studied the relationship between regional exports and economic growth with panel data based on provinces from1994to2011. To reflect the regional characteristics, this paper divided China into four regions; east, west, center, and northeast. The findings of this study are followings:The export in the eastern and western regions of China has the positive coefficient signs at the significant level. The relationship between exports and GDP in the eastern region has stronger effect than the effect in western region. However, in central and northeastern regions they have no significant effect. There were different results according to different regions. There have been many studies which assert Export-Led Growth for Chinese economy. In case of regionally looking over, different regions have different aspects. Due to there are different economic structure, degree of openness, and trading policy environments by different regions, the impacts between exports and economic growth are distinguished within different development contexts according to four regions. |
