Analysis On Development Strategy Of Chengdu Renewable Resources Industry

In the21st century, due to the increasing depletion of global resources, resource supply is increasingly tight.70%of the mineral resources have been exploited from the underground, and resource undergrounds are almost exhausted. At present, resources, in the form of garbage, are accumulated in the cities.In the future, people have to take advantages of the municipal wastes to obtain resources. Therefore, people must attach importance to circular economy mode, and the core of circular economy mode is renewable resource industry. To vigorously develop renewable resource industry is of great significance for saving resources, alleviating conflicts caused by resources shortage and reducing environmental load pressure. In recent years, major developed countries have invested huge amounts of money, implemented preferential policies and provided technical supports, which promoted rapid development of the renewable resource industry. Currently, renewable resource industry has become global fastest growing sunrise industry.Chengdu renewable resource industry has promoted economic development, increased GDP and added local tax revenues. At the same time, recycling and reusing of all kinds of renewable resources has also saved a lot of raw resources and reduced the generation of "three wastes"--waste water, waste gas and waste residue. Chengdu renewable resource industry has created economic benefits as well as social benefits. The environment-friendly lifestyle it promoted has achieved the organic unity of social, environmental and economic benefits. In recent years, with the guidance and training as well as the promotion of preferential policies of the government, the scale of enterprises engaged in renewable resource industry continues to expand, with their equipments constantly updated and personnel quality constantly improved. As a result, the overall competitiveness of this industry has been greatly improved. However, there are also problems to be solved in the development of renewable resources industry in Chengdu, such as talent bottleneck, backward technology, investment and financing difficulties, etc.Renewable resources industry in Chengdu has formed a certain scale, and the recovery system has undergone great changes. A number of regional centers and trading markets are formed with improved technical level. Renewable resources industry has become an important supplement of resources supply, which will contribute to realizing energy saving and emission reduction targets, providing a large number of employment opportunities as well as promoting local economic development. But there are also problems existing, such as poor oversight, market disorder, too many recovery links, enterprise scale small, low level of technology, secondary pollution problem, poor management of waste import quotas, defective regulations, inadequate understanding and other issues. The country has been attaching great importance to the development of venous industry, and actively building a resource-saving and environment-friendly society. In recent years, with the increasing income and consumption levels of urban and rural residents, people’s awareness of resource conservation has been improving. The quantity of wastes and old materials is increasing rapidly, such as scrap cars, scrap metal, waste electrical appliances and electronic products, waste paper and plastics, waste rubber, waste tires and others. Some of them, after recovery and processing, can be reused or recycled, which provides material basis for renewable resource industry. Chengdu’s renewable resource industry ushers in a new development opportunity.This paper, on the basis of analyzing the history and development status of renewable resources industry, has made a systematic research on the activities of recycling, sorting, distribution, processing and utilization. The paper has summarized the development status and problems of the renewable resources industry in Chengdu, and indicated the future development trends of this industry in order to lay foundation for the formulation of relevant policies. By combining relative strategic management theories, this paper has deepened strategic management of renewable resource industry and optimized the development of it, so as to promote the further development of renewable resources industry in Chengdu. This is also the purpose and significance of this study.
